Para Jumps

The Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) has a specialized Parachute Group, which is trained for airborne operations. This unit is part of the Special Forces of Zimbabwe, which includes elite soldiers skilled in rapid deployment and specialized missions.
One notable operation involving the Parachute Group was Operation Lemon in 1984, where they were deployed to Mozambique to protect the Beira Corridor railway link. Additionally, the ZNA has participated in international parachuting exercises, such as Operation Flintlock ’95, where Zimbabwean paratroopers demonstrated their skills alongside foreign military personnel.
